Pirate101: Test Realm To Be Released Soon!

Ahoy Pirates!

Today, Kingsisle released this month's Pirate101 Newsletter. This month, we'll finally have an update to test out. We'll need to monitor the Pirate101 Facebook and Twitter accounts for more information. It's going to be exciting for finally have an update to enjoy. Pirate101 Lives and I hope you all join me in testing out the new features they have planned for us. This first feature looks like a new Ship Gauntlet - the first Nautical Gauntlet was Blue. Then again, maybe it's Ship PvP? I guess we'll have to see!

Wizard101: Test Realm Online!

Hello Wizards!

I hope you're having a great First Day of Summer! Today, Kingsisle released the Wizard101 Test Realm for wizards to enjoy celebrating the first official day of Summer. If you're like me, you're most likely staying away from the heat by staying inside enjoying the ac and testing out the latest updates on the Wizard101 Test Realm. I've included a list of updates and my thoughts about them - you'll have to read the official Update Notes if you want more information about these updates. If you decide to check these updates out on the test realm - Report the Bugs!

PvP - 4th Age and Daily PvP Awards

This update was announced on the last episode of Kingsisle Live by our community manager, Tom Purdue, and Wizard101 Producer, Leah Ruben. This update was well received by a lot of of the community and may or may not improve PvP issues that many wizards have criticized Kingsisle about these past few years. It seems 4th Generation is a major upgrade from the previous 3rd Generation PvP. 

Chat - Menu Chat Improvements, Emojis, and More!

This update is my favorite update - since I love chatting. I mean, really who doesn't like chatting on the game? Everyone who knows me knows that I could talk everyone's ear off. I have to delete a lot of things I type on my posts because I know everyone wants me to get to the point - for me it's difficult to do that! Speaking of getting to the point... This Test Realm update also brings an amazing improvement of Menu Chat, inclusion of Emojis in chat (example above), and if you say "LOL" or "lol" in the chat box - your wizard will begin laughing! It's always the little things in life that make life so much better! Chat Channels were also introduced where you can click on Public or Private Chat channels where only you or your friends can read your chat - now that's awesome!

Avalon Fishing - Perfect for the first day of Summer!

There are a few names I think of when you hear of a fishing update. I am pretty sure Iridian Willowglen and Paige Moonshade are already enjoying this new fishing update on the Test Realm! Now, I know a few will be shocked when I tell you this, but I haven't done as much fishing as I should have. I'm even behind on it in real life! I really need to catch up on the simple but also relaxing things in life. I hope everyone who does fish on the game has a lot of fun catching all of the new Avalon Fish! :D -- Blogger really needs to add emojis, I know I'm too lazy to code emojis into HTML. 

If you want access to the Wizard101 Test Realm, you'll need a membership and/or have made a Crowns Purchase in the last 30 days. Remember to report those bugs when you see them so Kingsisle can improve the game for us. It's nice to have most of those bugs squashed before it reaches the Live Realm. Wizard101 Test Realm: Online!

Hello Wizards!

Today, Kingsisle released the Wizard101 Test Realm. There are new level 118 pets, Monstrology (as discussed on Kingsisle Live), new Mirage quests, Skeleton Key Bosses and more! I will make more blog posts over the weekend about the test realm. Remember, you will need to have spent at least $6 within the past month. Pirate101: Test Realm Party!

Ahoy Pirates!

Tomorrow, our arrrsome community manager, Friendly Thomas, will be having a party on the Pirate101 Test Realm. As of now, nothing will be released, but to me, this seems like a good sign! :D Keep reading for more information about the party, tomorrow. There will be code broadcasts, turrents, pet sparring, test realm crowns, and more! I'll be there and I hope to also see you there.

Wizard101 Test Realm: Online! (Spoilers)

Hello Wizards!

I hope you're having a wonderful week so far! It's been hot where I live. We're going through a heat wave and that means it's the hottest week of the year... You know I'd rather have cold weather so I'm staying in the AC until it cools down. The good thing about staying inside since the Wizard101 Test Realm is ONLINE! One feature that I've tested out in the Test Realm today is the new Level 50 Elixir. This Elixir costs 30,000 crowns, but that's pretty cheap since it gives you everything that you need to start questing in Celestia. You will receive Advanced Gear - Hat, Robe, Boots, Wand, Athame, Amulet, Ring and a Deck. You will also get a level 48 pet and a permanent enchanted broom.

Once you use the elixir, you can advance from level 1 to level 50! You would have completed all main quests (it looks like you will still have to complete side quests in the worlds that you missed). You can begin questing in Celestia, but don't forget to train all of your spells that you missed with your training points AND add your spells to your new deck before entering a battle. :D I think this is a great feature for wizards that have been playing for awhile and just don't want to repeat quests in Wizard City through Dragonspyre.
